About Me
About Me
I am a learning and development professional with 13 years of experience designing and building learning solutions to solve problems of people management, onboarding, compliance, and language instruction. I work as a Training Specialist at NBME, a national healthcare assessment organization, where I design eLearning and facilitate training for our Business Enablement vertical.
I am passionate about all aspects of learning and have a knack for building stakeholder relationships, analyzing data, and asking incisive questions to get to the root of and solve organizational challenges. Whether it's an in-person workshop, eLearning experience, job aid, communication campaign, or a combination of approaches, I design learning solutions that are practical, engaging, and aligned to business needs.
I began my career in education as part of the New York City Teaching Collaborative Program, which is designed to improve educational outcomes in the city’s highest-need schools. I spent ten years in secondary classrooms and that experience remains at the heart of my instructional philosophy. It taught me empathy, patience, and the importance of meeting leaners where they are. I create solutions that not only meet an organization's needs, but also support its peoples' goals and aspirations.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, camping, hiking, and traveling (particularly with my mischievous Beagle mix, Archie). Maybe most importantly, I'm endlessly searching for New York's best breakfast sandwich. The mission continues.
